Welcome to Holy Trinity

Hello and welcome to Holy Trinity Church, Heworth, York - the church on the corner at the centre of the community.

My name is the Rev Michael Woodmansey and I have been the Vicar of Holy Trinity Church since September 2000, when I moved here with my wife Alison and four children.

Holy Trinity is a lively and welcoming Anglican church.   Having discovered the love of Jesus reaching out to us we seek to make this love known.   We believe that Christians of every age and background should have the opportunity to grow in maturity and discover the gifts that God is giving them within the family of God’s people.

We have lots going on for people of all ages.  Whether you have been a Christian for many years or are just beginning to explore the possibility that Christianity may have something to offer you, you can be sure of a warm welcome.  Our worship styles range from the informality of café style services (Sunday Plus) and liveliness of interactive services (Trinity Praise) through to the very traditional early morning (BCP) Communion services.  You can find details of all these and the different activities and fellowship groups by clicking on the relevant tabs.

Do come along and join us. If you'd like to get in touch, click on the Contact Us page for numbers. Most of us find coming to a new organization daunting, so please feel free to contact me for more information about the service or activity that is appropriate for you. I will happily arrange for someone to meet you beforehand to accompany you on your first visit. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you.
